Job Description
As a General Attendant you will strive to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their designated area/floors and duties in accordance to the hotel housekeeping standards.
- Ensure all work areas are fully stocked and tidy during your shift.
- Ensure correct disposal of all rubbish from the floors and areas.
- Record all serviced rooms on worksheet. Report and record any rooms that cannot be serviced.
- Dispose of all rubbish and dirty linen correctly following department procedures.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used and stored correctly. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition and report faults immediately.
- Create and maintain a personal respectful rapport with all guests. Deal with their requirements and enquiries. Handling guest complaints promptly and with thorough follow up referring to others when necessary.
- Follow key signing procedures and take responsibility for assigned keys.
- Hand in all lost property immediately and follow the lost property procedure.
- Assist in special cleaning projects as required. Ensure that the hotel linen is treated correctly in accordance with the Housekeeping standards.
- Ensure that all guest property is handled in an efficient and correct manner.

Qualifications :
To be successful in this role we ask that you have:
Previous experience in a similar role would an advantage however full training is provided.
You function best in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility in working hours is required.
