Team Summary
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia New Zealand and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visas advisory division working with Visas clients (including card issuers acquirers and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy proposition development loyalty operational optimisation customer engagement and overall business profitability.
VCA is made up of three services lines - Advisory Data Science and Managed Services the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team sharing knowledge and bringing the best of Visa to the client.
We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join the clients team for a 12-24 month Fixed-Term Contract. This role will be embedded with a key strategic clients Retail Banking team and will be part of a Tech Squad to execute on an exciting credit card product. You will get an opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and play a pivotal role in driving advancement in the banks leading engineering practices. You will build and coach others to develop and automate the testing of robust adaptable code that is always production ready. Through collaboration with other developers your work will improve the banking experience for our clients customers.

Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Able to design develop and implement automatic test equipment and test programs for design verification and production testing.
- Responsible for conducting end-to-end testing to ensure the quality and reliability of cards banking applications.
- Write and maintain automated test cases and ensuring continuous improvement of the test automation practice.
- Contribute to the ongoing quality of both delivery and testing capability.
- Actively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing discipline.
- You coach team members to increase their capability and in turn the capability of the scrum teams and organization.
- You maintain a focus on personal development of soft skills including refining ability to operate in ambiguity and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver the projects as per the plan and schedule
- Help support gathering requirements and document Map As-Is user journeys and assist in developing To-Be experiences.
- Assist in user acceptance testing through the creation of test plans to execution.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of 3-days in the office and as confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
What will also help:
Bachelors Degree
5 Experience in testing and technical background. Must understand and have experience of the full lifecycle of testing.
Experience in API level automation with .net writing SQL queries and using Jenkins or any other CI tool.
Experienced in Agile methodologies.
Experience in performance usability security and compatibility testing.
In-depth understanding and experience of functional regression and acceptance testing
Solid experience in unit testing principles and mobile automation.
Ability to quickly learn and pick up new languages frameworks APIs and technologies.
Experience within a mission critical environment is beneficial.
Card Payments experience is highly desirable
Expertise working with Appium (Mobile automation) Selenium (UI) Blaze meter JMeter REST Sharp HTTP Client for backend automation
