About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Licensing Support Officer to work as part of the Conservation Programs team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment flora fauna and Aboriginal heritage.
As Licensing Support Officer you will be responsible for administering all aspects of the wildlife licensing system including processing licence applications licence renewals reviewing annual record reports processing license fee payments data input and general correspondence to support wildlife licensing objectives. It is imperative you provide an effective timely and accurate information service on wildlife licensing issues to ensure that legislative and community obligations are always met.
About You
The successful candidate will bring well-developed administrative and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate sound judgement and attention to detail when reviewing and processing licensing information ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies procedures and legislation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical as the role involves frequent engagement with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also: -
