Demand Planner

About the job

We are looking for a Demand Planner for our Business Unit Brazed and Fusion Bonded heat exchangers to be the key driver in capturing and managing the market demand signals by which the organization aligns supply chain and company resources. Demand Planning is part of the S&OP process with various stakeholders within the organization. As Demand Planner you will play a vital role in our business and you will be reporting to Head of Strategic Marketing.

Your responsibilities for this position will be:

  • Drive and develop the monthly Demand Planning process.
  • Work closely with the different stakeholders of the S&OP process (Sales Supply Chain Product Management Local Planners etc.) to understand demand forecasting drivers.
  • Analyze and challenge Sales and Product Management forecasts identify demand trends and drive actions for improving forecast accuracy.
  • Manage forecast consensus activities to reduce BIAS and support the companys business objectives by reconciling top-down strategic forecasts with bottom-up inputs from regional or local teams.
  • Track and analyse global sales performance to identify market trends opportunities identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Act as a bridge and facilitate the dialogue to ensure alignment between Sales and Operations and support the organization in all stages of the Demand Planning process.
  • Contribute to strategies and initiatives aimed at optimizing inventory levels while maintaining service level targets and cost efficiency.
  • Provide reports and insights to support decision making within the organization.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who can analyze and interpret complex data identify trends and draw meaningful insights. You are both strategical and detail oriented and you are able to seek up relevant information and use that input for bringing results. You take accountability and you are committed to connect all the stakeholders to follow through the process and to deliver great results.

You have a high degree of energy and resilience; you like to challenge and inspire people and change management is part of your day. You have an ability to build a strong network and trust with different key stakeholders and you have very strong communication skills in both verbal and written form.

What you know

You have a bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Economics or a related field and you have several years of experience from working with demand planning analyzing data and identify trends. You have a strong strategy and business understanding to anticipate and respond to stakeholders needs with relevant solutions. You have advanced Microsoft Office skills and you have worked with demand planning software (e.g. SO99) and other statistical analysis tools. You are comfortable exploring new solutions and driving continuous improvements and initiatives in an international environment.

Practicalities

The position is based in San Bonifacio (VR) Italy and you will report to Head of Marketing. This role requires up to 50 days of international travelling per year.
