Producer Strategic Events x 2

  • Employment Type: Full time 35 hours per week
  • Duration: Contract until 31 December 2025
  • Remuneration: Level 7 $110073 - $119132 (depending on experience) 17% super leave loading
  • Location: Kensington NSW

Why Your Role Matters:

The UNSW Division of Societal Impact Equity and Engagement (DSIEE) drives initiatives that promote equity social justice and societal impact. As part of the Strategic Events department the Producer delivers high-quality events for both internal University programs and UNSWs Centre for Ideas a leading thought-leadership platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the Event Programs team to deliver cohesive impactful events.
  • Manage event logistics including budgets venues talent and ticketing in partnership with the Senior Manager.
  • Oversee on-ground event delivery including stage management and front-of-house management.
  • Supervise volunteers contractors and casual staff as needed.
  • Develop systems to ensure consistent high-quality event execution.
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to produce event collateral.
  • Maintain networks to stay updated on best practices and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding events.

This role reports to the Senior Manager Event Programs with a focus on impactful events that uphold UNSWs mission.

About You:

You are an experienced producer with a background in events tertiary education media or the arts. Skilled in end-to-end event management including production ticketing and talent coordination you excel in fast-paced complex environments. A strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills you build effective relationships and manage budgets and deadlines with precision. Your expertise in marketing communications and digital engagement ensures impactful and high-quality events.
