Hours: Full Time
Location: Fully remote. This opportunity is open to you if you can legally work remotely from one of our home countries in the Sweden Malta Hungary Spain Poland or the Philippines.
Contract: Permanent

What the role entails
Some of the key responsibilities of our Backend Developer will be:
- Team member role that requires general supervision
- Conducts requirement analysis in order to ensure the final product meets expectations.
- Conducts functional and technical software analysis and design
- Develops software following the necessary policies and processes.
- Advocates and abides by Agile principles
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality in the product.
- Documents development work and provides daily reporting and communication of work done.
- Contributes to the squad chapter and guild(s) by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Conducts problem analysis and drafts proposal for solution.
- Helps troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborates with squad and other chapters members represent his/her own particular area.
- Conducts review of technical analysis.
- Contributes to the software architecture.
- Coaches and mentors other developers

What we ask of you
- Experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with Cloud services
- Solid understanding of software architectures
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Good Design Pattern knowledge
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong desire for continuous learning
- Good English communication skills
Preferences:
- Previously worked in game development
- Understanding of multi-threaded applications
- Ability to create comprehensive Unit testing solutions (xUnit)
- Experience with Back-end development (Orleans SQL)
- Experience with Front-end development (HTML5 / CSS3 JavaScript / TypeScript)
- Worked with Git TeamCity Octopus and JIRA before
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of probabilistic and statistical concepts
