Job Description

On behalf of our client a reputable construction company based in Nicosia we are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join their Human Resources Department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the full recruitment cycle including placement of job advertisements and managing communication
  • Manage the onboarding procedure to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
  • Collaborate with managementand identifytraining needsfor all staff members.
  • Organize and coordinate employee training programs through the training center.
  • Maintain internal databases with employee training and certificate records ensuring the outmost confidentiality.
  • Create post-training evaluationstestsand assessments.
  • Liaise with Universities Ministry of Labour OSEOK.
  • Handle employee requests for sick leave annual leave days and other absences.
  • Oversee the provident fund scheme.
  • Develop and update HR Policies and Proceduresand ensure their compliance.
  • Address employee queries and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
  • Handle disciplinary actions.
  • MaintainHR database and employee records current and accurate.
  • Ensure the implementation ofthePerformance Management Systemand providereporting to management.
  • Manage organizational and company culture.
  • Monitor the HR function withHR metricsand analytics.

Your qualifications and profile:

  • BS and/or MS/MA degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-7 years experience in a human resource related position with duties relating to the above
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal leadership and supervisory skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Greek.
