Summary:
Seeking a passionate and mission-aligned Speech-Language Pathologist to join our special education team. You’ll work across multiple K-12 campuses providing direct speech and language therapy collaborating with families and staff and helping scholars overcome barriers to communication. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students’ speech/language development and determine eligibility for services
• Provide direct therapy for students with communication needs across a K–12 caseload
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with parents teachers and support staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams provide input at IEP meetings and maintain documentation
• Conduct home visits or multi-campus site visits as needed
• Use assistive communication technologies where appropriate
• Maintain timely records activity logs and reports to ensure compliance and quality
• Engage in school-wide events to support family and scholar engagement
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences or related field
• California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
Highly Preferred:
• 2 years of experience in an urban or high-need school setting
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual ability strongly desired
