Our Client is a multi-industry group operating in construction and catering known for delivering high-quality projects and services across Egypt. As the company continues to scale we are hiring a Procurement Manager to optimize our purchasing processes manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient material flow for both sectors.
The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle across the construction and catering businesses. The role involves strategic sourcing vendor negotiations inventory planning and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute procurement of food items (fresh frozen dry) packaging materials and kitchen equipment.
- Establish strong relationships with local and international food suppliers and distributors.
- Monitor quality standards shelf life and delivery compliance for all food-related purchases.
- Negotiate pricing credit terms and supply agreements for bulk and recurring orders.
- Coordinate with chefs kitchen managers and inventory teams to manage stock levels and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and health regulations in procurement processes.
- Keep accurate records of food cost purchase history and vendor evaluations.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining food quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Supply Chain or Hospitality Management.
- 7 years of experience in F&B or catering procurement.
- In-depth understanding of food categories and vendor sourcing.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety compliance.
- Strong negotiation and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and procurement or ERP software.
