At NielsenIQ a Revenue associate administers reviews and validates sales contracts to
recognize revenue and establishes a billing plan in accordance with Global and Regional
policies and procedures. Partners with relevant Client Service teams to drive USGAAP &
statutory compliance. Supports all other revenue and billing processes including periodic book
closing and reconciliations.
Responsibilities
Prepare billing runs and post invoices cancellations and credit notes.
Coordinates with order management team for administration of sales contract and
order processing for the respective country in coordination with Client Service.
Prepare revenue workings and perform revenue recognition in accordance with USGAAP criteria and maintain relevant documentation for auditing purposes.
Prepare and post accruals provisions.
Prepare and comment on account reconciliations.
Provide comments on Unbilled Deferred and Blocked Revenue and do relevant
reporting to all stake holders.
Perform the controls on revenue processes in scope and ensure adequate
controllership is maintained at all times flag to the Revenue Controller in exceptional
cases.
Identify and recommend process improvements to evolve the finance function.
Work closely with peer group in the Revenue Controlling COE incl. the hub.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
3 years of relevant experience
Expected to have basic accounting knowledge.
Should have working knowledge of excel. Advanced knowledge and macro skills
preferred.
Both oral and written fluency in English preferred.
Experience working in multinational multi-cultural environment.
Experience working with remote counterparts.
Experience working in Finance & some legal contract exposure preferred.
