Job Description

As a Senior Account Manager at NCS you will be central to driving business growth within the New South Wales Retail sector. This role involves managing a large Retail client while leading initiatives to drive growth in the account. Your primary goal is to identify and secure new business opportunities and strategically expand our presence within the account. Achieving this requires a deep understanding of the challenges and objectives facing the client in the Australian Retail landscape.

 

To succeed youll stay informed about Retail industry trends and the competitive environment enabling you to identify emerging opportunities and advise your client on effective solutions. The focus is on building strong long-term strategic partnerships and driving growth across your client (potentially expanding to other retail clients in the future). This extends beyond maintaining relationships; you will actively seek fresh business opportunities and revenue streams within each account by aligning NCSs technology offerings with clients evolving goals anticipating future market needs and leading initiatives to provide valuable solutions to your diverse client base.

 

On a day-to-day basis you will oversee the creation and presentation of tailored proposals including RFPs and RFQs for projects and services that meet the specific needs of your clients.   You will negotiate contracts and commercial terms to maximise value and secure new business. Collaborating closely with our solutions specialists project managers and delivery teams you will ensure seamless service delivery achieve sales and revenue targets and provide clear reports on account status pipeline development and strategic growth initiatives across client portfolio.

 


Qualifications :

  • Proven Business Growth & New Account Acquisition: Demonstrated success in driving significant business growth both by strategically expanding existing large client accounts and by proactively identifying pursuing and securing new business opportunities and anchor clients preferably within the technology services sector.
  • Strategic Retail Account Management (NSW Focus): Experience managing a Retail client(s) specifically within the New South Wales market including developing a deep understanding of their unique business challenges objectives and the local industry dynamics.
  • High-Impact Relationship & Partnership Building: Expertise in building and nurturing strong long-term strategic partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organisations acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Technology Solution Alignment & Advisory: Ability to understand complex client needs and effectively align technology offerings (e.g. Digital Application Services AI cloud data analytics related technology solutions) to address these needs anticipate future requirements and advise on innovative solutions.
  • Commercial Acumen & Negotiation Expertise: Strong capabilities in developing compelling proposals (including RFPs/RFQs) skillfully negotiating contracts and commercial terms to maximize value and a consistent track record of achieving ambitious sales and revenue targets.
  • Collaboration Proven experience working effectively and collaboratively with client and internal solutions specialists project managers and delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • NSW Retail Market Insight & Opportunity Identification: Keen understanding of New South Wales retail industry trends the competitive landscape and the ability to translate this market insight into actionable strategies and emerging business opportunities.
