Primary Purpose

Perform activities relating to designing building testing implementing and maintaining IT services portfolios products projects and processes under the guidance of a Sr. IT Services Analyst or Manager. May assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates. Independence level: Works under general supervision.



The IT Service Management (ITSM) Services Analyst role will be primarily focused on and contributing to the success of the Patch Management and Coordination area. This role will manage and oversee patching events metrics meetings and communication processes within the IT Organization.

Host weekly metrics meetings consolidate monthly metrics and create slides for monthly governance presentations
Create and manage change tickets for patching activities.
Initiate and confirm patching schedules in iPatch
Schedule platinum patching events and collaborate with support vendors.
Communicate patching event details to application teams and create necessary change tickets
Host patch plan review meetings and checkpoint calls with IT Platform teams
Authorize the start of patching events which may occur over weekends.


Role is open to all our OpCo/Exelon service territories.



Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday).



No relocation is available.


Primary Duties

Perform document and assist in planning work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of our business partners within the confines of financial commitments. Assist with IT activities required to manage service level agreements under the direction of a Sr. IT Services Analyst or Manager. (65%)
Maintain engagement with business and IT partners. (10%)
Assist less experienced personnel. (10%)
Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions. (10%)
Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model. (5%)

Job Scope

As assigned work effectively with outsourcing partners
Performs this service in support of (fill in business area i.e. Energy Delivery Real Time etc.)


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and typically 2 to 5 years related experience in Information Technology or 6 to 9 equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of utility business practices and processes
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

General knowledge and experience with ServiceNow preferred
Experience with ServiceNow and Power BI reporting tools
The following training and/or related certifications are desirable:
ServiceNow Fundamentals
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations
Proficient in PowerPoint and delivering presentations
Proven experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with patching processes and scheduling tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of Unix and database administration a plus.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and other factors: $84000.00/Yr. $115500.00/Yr.
