Trinity Anglican School (TAS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Officer to support the daily operations of our vibrant Kewarra Beach campus library. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and student-focused environment that values curiosity lifelong learning and community.
As the friendly face of the library youll help keep things running smoothly from managing resources and supporting lessons to helping students find their next great read. Youll work closely with teaching staff to support learning and maintain a vibrant well-organised environment.
Is this you
- You have experience in library services ideally in a school setting or hold a Certificate in Library and Information Services.
- Youre confident using Library Management Systems and digital tools like SCIS and Microsoft Office.
- You bring strong attention to detail and excellent time management problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Youre familiar with childrens and adolescent literature and enjoy supporting young people in their learning.
- Youre comfortable assisting with cataloguing circulation shelving and maintaining a well-organised collection.
- You can deliver class lessons under guidance and support students and staff in accessing library resources.
- Youre proactive collaborative and able to work independently when needed.
- You hold a current Blue Card First Aid and CPR certificates and meet Anglican Schools compliance requirements.

Qualifications experience and licenses
- Certificate in Library and Information Services or experience in a Library service (preferably in a School environment)
- National Register Screen (Anglican Schools Commission)
- HLTAID012 Certificate Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
- HLTAID009 Certificate Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
