We have an exceptional opportunity for a Dental Clinic Supervisor Health Care Services Supervisor 2 position at our Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton and Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla! Time will be split between the two institutions.

About the Job Your Role

As the Dental Clinic Supervisor you will provide oversight for ODOC dental clinic operations at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) and Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) particularly as it relates to patient flow infection control institution security and proper utilization of the ODOC dental staff. You will perform analysis of dental program operations and develop systems for program enhancement. As assigned by the Dental Operations Manager you will also be expected to assist in the provision of oversight at other institutions within the ODOC.

This position is management services and may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) as defined by statute.

Minimum Qualifications

Four years of lead work supervision or progressively related experience to the class concept.

OR

One year of related experience and a bachelors degree in a related field.

Work is primarily conducted within the health services section of a correctional institution. May require contact with adults in custody (AICs) who may become violent. Requires walking or standing for long periods requires climbing and descending stairs; possible exposure to chemicals radiation communicable diseases or other hazards inherent in a health care and correctional setting. Frequently works alone with little or no direct supervision. Sitting for extended periods of time.

The salary range listed above is for non-PERS qualifying applicants. PERS qualifying applicants may be eligible for an adjusted range to reflect an additional 6.95%.

The successful candidate for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access there may be some felony convictions that could disqualify you for this position.
