The Chemistry Lab Technician will work under the supervision of the Senior Lab Technician to support the instructional and research activities of the Biological and Chemical Sciences Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience in an academic or research setting (may include student work or internships).
Basic understanding of chemical safety protocols laboratory procedures and proper handling of equipment and reagents.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Physically able to lift and move moderate weights safely and as required.
