Whats the role

The Team Member PSO plays a key role in supporting both internal and external customers with international payments and related investigations. This includes managing Day 2 outstanding items and acting as a central point of contact for payment queries across the PSO business. The role requires product knowledge proficiency in SWIFT formatting and the ability to navigate various systems used for payment processing and customer service within the Westpac Group. In addition to technical responsibilities the position involves handling inbound and outbound customer calls resolving complaints and ensuring service delivery aligns with Westpacs standards.

This is a max-term opportunity based at our Paramatta office. Operating hours are between the hours of 9am-8:30pm Monday Friday with 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH.

What do I need

  • Banking/Finance services knowledge and experience desirable but not essential
  • Customer service/call centre experience desirable
  • Understanding of Privacy and Risk compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
