Role Details:
Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in Brisbane area.
Locations: Based out of Murarrie
Hours:4-5AM Start Mon-Friday Weekend work available
What youll do:
- Operating Heavy Rigid waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers throughout the Greater Brisbane Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years recent Australian driving experience.
- Previous experience with multidrop tautliners flatbeds or waste collections vehicles.
- Sound knowledge of the Greater Melbourne area.
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
