Job Description
Job Description:
- 1. Arrive at the transit time; plan with the transport department & to move the stocks accordingly.
- 2. Follow up with each Depot / C&FA on the tentative Indent and firm Indent and give to Factories (both the indents).Follow up on movement of stocks. Primary / secondary freight finalization after verifying the economical rate and faster delivery of stocks.
- 3. Ensure correct billing system of the stocks moved with proper rate and batch Nos. at depots / C&F points.
- 4. Ensure that there are no billing mistakes in Depots / C&F points.
- 5. Ensure that FIFO system is maintained in every depot / C&FA.
- 6. Coordinating with Materials and Production on a daily / weekly basis and ensure that the two depts. are given sufficient time in getting stocks and then dispatch.
- 7. Ensure that depots / C&F keep proper acknowledgements of stocks delivered.
- 8. Coordinating with all Factories and ensure stocks are received in time.
- 9. Keep a close track on various Governmental / Regulatory methods like F-Forms C-Forms to be collected in time.
- 10. Close monitoring of slow moving / Ageing stocks.
