Job Description
What success looks like in this role:
Serves as senior and/or lead.
Acts as a key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues.
Resolves escalated data center service issues.
Manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures.
Supports data center infrastructure by installing maintaining and repairing hardware in order to accommodate data center growth.
May provide direction and guidance to other team members while continuing to provide day-to-day support.
Controls data center inventory.
Captures and reports metrics to leadership.
Plans and coordinates with IT Facilities Management cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure appropriate data center capacity / scalability.
Tracks plans and communicates capacity and constraints in available datacenter resources.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
High School Diploma or GED required
May require technical certification or Associate Degree
Generally 4-6 years experience in area of responsibility
Sunbird dcTrack or similar DCIM tool experience
ITSM process experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool
