Details:

Role Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the strategic planning scheduling and execution of Furniture & Equipment (F&E) deliveries installations and project close-outs across multi-phase projects for K-12 schools and academic facilities. This position requires collaboration with vendors clients construction teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate F&E deliveries installations and close-out processes for multiple school construction and modernization projects.
  • Work closely with vendors procurement teams clients construction teams and stakeholders to align schedules and ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and manage logistics scope budget estimates and delivery schedules in consultation with the Planning Lead.
  • Track project labor budgets and schedules adjusting as necessary to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain all documentation related to delivery installation and project closure.
  • Follow up on punch-listed items and oversee their resolution.
  • Communicate with school principals project managers and other officials to assess site readiness.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with vendors ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct on-site logistics assessments with clients stakeholders and vendors ahead of F&E activities.
  • Verify scope completion and review finished projects with clients to ensure operational readiness.
  • Identify on-site logistics needs such as path of travel staging areas storage and parking requirements.
  • Request quotes and coordinate removal and disposal of existing furniture as part of close-out procedures.
  • Provide detailed status reports and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with district offices and external vendors on logistics and coordination efforts for school occupancy.
  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs) process payments and maintain updated records within the database.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Details:

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
  • At least six (6) years of full-time paid professional experience in move and relocation management project coordination or furniture and equipment logistics.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in facility project management or project coordination (preferred).
  • Strong experience in project analysis management and reporting.
  • Prior experience in public agency school construction or modernization projects is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design Interior Architecture Architecture or a related field from a recognized college or university. OR
  • Candidates without the required degree must have an additional two (2) years of experience to compensate for education requirements.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Budget and cost management proficiency
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
  • Basic knowledge of architectural and furniture layout drawings
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel Word Outlook etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary Range: $60K - $80K DOE
