About the Role

Reports to: Head of Learning & Development

Location: Any NDS office but Melbourne ideally

Position Purpose

This role is responsible for contributing to the effective delivery of high-quality learning and development (L&D) programs that build organisational capability and support excellence in service delivery for the disability sector. Working collaboratively with the Head of Learning and Development the position provides coordination stakeholder engagement and performance reporting across a range of L&D initiatives.

The role supports the organisations commercial sustainability by assisting the Head of L&D to ensure L&D programs are strategically aligned cost-effective and demonstrate measurable value to stakeholders. In doing so it plays a critical role in strengthening workforce capability and achieving high-quality outcomes for people with disability

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high level administrativeand operation support to the L&D team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to building long term professional partnerships
  • Support training partners with online facilitationaccess management and technical troubleshooting
  • Coordinate contract and agreement processes
  • Assist with budgeting and invoicing processes
  • Prepare reports to assist with financial management
  • Compile reports on L&D activities and provide actionable insights based on data analysis
  • Use feedback performance data and evaluation metrics to inform continuous improvements
  • Maintain the internal L&D training calendar
  • Oversee and manage the L&D inbox
  • Develop and refine L&D protocols for consistency and quality


Skills And Experiences

Skills and Experience

  • Project Coordination: Proven ability to manage logistics and delivery of in-person and virtual workshops balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building strong relationships with leaders clients and education partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and a background in addressing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring participant satisfaction.
  • Strong computer literacy including CRM systems Microsoft Office and online platforms with experience in virtual event management and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting: Experiencein monitoring financial and program performance
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse data and feedback to drive continuous improvements in training programs and processes.
  • Experience in contract management processes
  • Knowledge of accessibility requirements for inclusive events and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail focused on accuracy
  • Flexible in adapting to shifting priorities and supporting a small team.
  • Proven track record in supporting continuous improvement initiatives that align with procedures with organisational goals.
  • Ability to travel independently as required.
