DUE DILIGENCE AND INVESTIGATIONS ANALYST- EUROPE
S-RM is seeking an Analyst to join the Europe Team within the companys Corporate Intelligence division in our London offices.

S-RM is a corporate intelligence and cyber security consultancy. We provide intelligence resilience and response solutions to organisations worldwide. Founded in 2005 we have 400 experts across nine international offices serving clients across all regions and major sectors.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
We think candidates with the following skills and experience are likely to succeed as Corporate Intelligence Analysts at S-RM. Were looking for the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or more preferably in European Studies Political Science International Relations Economics Law Journalism Linguistics or related ;
- The ability to read and research in at least one of the following languages will be required: Dutch Greek Swedish Norwegian Danish;
- Utilising the aforementioned language(s) to a standard that enables critical assessment of meaning and relevance of media articles;
- A demonstrable understanding of the different forms of risks that concern clients within Europe which may include corruption bribery reputational risk political influence fraud misrepresentation and other conflicts;
- A demonstrable understanding of political economic commercial and legal dynamics in Europe; and
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidates must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
THE ROLE
Our Corporate Intelligence division uses the latest research and intelligence-gathering techniques to investigate how companies and individuals really do business in todays world. We work with some of the most prominent and sophisticated organisations to help them understand partners customers assets and territories across the globe - the healthcare company a private equity firm wants to invest in; the prospective client a bank wants to onboard; the market a multinational wants to enter.
We also provide specialised investigative support to law firms businesses and individuals in contentious situations such as litigation commercial disputes and internal investigations. We are looking for someone who is adaptable can be part of a team and wants to grow with the business. An Analyst is likely to take on the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:
- Conducting in-depth online research on subjects whether they be individuals or companies using various open-source tools in support of corporate investigations or due diligence projects across Europe;
- Conducting research on regional commercial security and political issues in Europe;
- Critically analysing and assessing all information obtained during research;
- Providing subject matter expertise on the political regulatory and corporate risk environment in Europe; and
- Presenting research assessments and accurate reports to managers and clients.
