Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse Float Pool (Traveler)

Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and flexible Registered Nurse Float Pool (Traveler) to provide high-quality patient care across multiple units. This role is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in diverse clinical settings and is committed to collaborative patient-focused care.
Work Schedule-
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Days: 3 shifts per week Monday through Friday

Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferably in medical/surgical settings

Licensure/Certification:

Active Rhode Island (RI) RN License required upon submission

BLS certification required

Vaccination Requirements:

COVID-19 vaccination required

Seasonal flu vaccination required

Implement monitor and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Accurately document and communicate changes in patient condition

Coordinate care among interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Follow physician and nursing orders with precision

Facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team members

Proven adaptability across various hospital units and patient populations

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Sound clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
