Job Description
Perform electrical engineering duties in furtherance of design and develop of Wi-Fi Bluetooth and wireless communications components for NXP Semiconductor wireless network products. Develop software for standard based and proprietary Wi-Fi or Bluetooth features with the latest IEEE standards in advanced processing nodes. Write design specifications based on system and software feature requirements. Responsible for pre-silicon bring-up verification and software development on reference design platforms. Work on system integration and performance tuning.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering foreign equivalent or related field.
Required skills:
Position requires knowledge gained via completion of a university-level course internship or related occupation involving:
- Chip-bring ups on PCB boards;
- Firmware Layer on wireless protocols including link-scheduling and packet datapath;
- Validation of HW Ips on chip with internal testing environment;
- Radio Frequency(RF) calibration data for transmitter/receiver on different wireless protocols;
- Host Interfaces analyzing/debugging such as JTAG
- RTOS FW design
- 802.11 protocols; and
- Over-The-Air Analyzing.
Offered salary: $151091 per year
The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits incentive compensation and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications skill level work location and other business and organizational needs.
