Flexologist Volunteer Hospice Care
Location:Las Vegas Area Type:Volunteer Schedule:Flexible
Bring Gentle Movement Comfort and Care to Hospice Patients
Are you a certified flexologist or stretch therapy professional with a compassionate heart Join our hospice team as aFlexologist Volunteerand offer soothing gentle assisted stretches and mindful movement techniques to promote comfort ease and relaxation for patients at the end of life.
What Youll Do:
- Providegentle comfort-based stretch therapyor guided range-of-motion sessions for hospice patients in homes inpatient centers or care facilities
- Help easemuscle tension stiffness and discomfortusing safe light-touch stretching and positioning
- Supportrelaxation breathing and peaceful body awarenessthrough mindful movement
- Offer compassionate attentive presence and adjust sessions based on patient comfort preferences and condition
- Communicate with hospice staff regarding patient needs preferences and changes
- Follow safety infection control and hospice care guidelines
What Youll Need:
Certification or training in flexology stretch therapy or related bodywork modality
Kind empathetic and professional demeanor
Comfort working with individuals in fragile end-of-life conditions
Ability to adapt techniques gently and respectfully for hospice-appropriate care
