Position Summary
Responsible for the internal support of large and major accounts assigned to the team. This person supports the Government Programs Account Management team with assigned brokers and large group clients providing internal assistance. This is a FT Hybrid role based in Portland Oregon.

Pay Range
$44618.84 - $55778.72annually (depending on experience)
*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

  • Required Skills Experience & Education:

    1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience specializing in health insurance and/or marketing sales underwriting or math.
    2. Previous health insurance industry experience preferred.
    3. Demonstrates relationship building skills.
    4. Knowledge of Medical and Dental insurance business is preferred.
    5. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines.
    6. Ability to communicate and interpret the clients needs.
    7. Ability to be self-directed and work independently with little supervision.
    8. Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
    9. Strong interpersonal skills.
    10. Strong problem solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
    11. The ability to work closely and effectively with a variety of individuals and groups.
    12. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    13. Presents a positive and professional image in the communities we serve.
    14. Demonstrates proficiency in desktop application software including email word processing spreadsheets and creating presentations.
    15. Maintain a valid drivers license and a good driving record.

    Primary Functions:

    1. Responding to both written and oral inquiries from the agents/accounts researching and problem solving of service issues with appropriate departments.
    2. Conduct review of performance guarantees monthly quarterly and annually gathering the information from departments internally and ensuring delivery to agent/group in appropriate timeframe.
    3. Assist in researching complex service issues for agents and customers; works with Account Management team and dedicated functional experts (billing customer service claims etc.) on corrective action steps to ensure end to end resolution of the issue.
    4. Coordinate enrollment meetings and assist in ordering and the preparation of all marketing materials needed.
    5. Assist in the design and development of non-standard literature enrollment materials member guides Q & As and other special marketing materials.
    6. Prepares group applications.
    7. Represents Moda at benefit and wellness fairs.
    8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
