Job Description

A growing cash advance company is seeking an experienced MCA Underwriter to evaluate and underwrite merchant cash advance deals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk assessment financial documentation and deal structuring within the MCA industry. This role is essential in ensuring quality funding decisions and maintaining portfolio integrity.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze bank statements credit reports and other financial documents to assess risk.

  • Determine deal structure and funding eligibility based on underwriting guidelines.

  • Identify red flags and inconsistencies in documentation.

  • Collaborate with sales and syndication teams to optimize deal flow and turnaround time.

  • Maintain clear and accurate records of underwriting decisions.

  • Stay current with industry trends and underwriting best practices.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in MCA underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of risk evaluation and financial analysis.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with underwriting software and CRM systems.
