St. Josephs Academy seeks an Assistant Director of Communications. This position works with the Communications Director to promote the SJA brand and consistently articulate SJAs mission and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Areas of responsibility include website management; creation of content and management of SJAs presence on Facebook Instagram YouTube and SmugMug and interaction with audience through comments messages and likes; writing stories for the website and school publications; email communications and marketing; domain management; and photography.
The position works closely with the Mission Advancement and Admissions departments on their initiatives including Give Day the admissions process and other events.
Qualifications include a degree in communications public relations journalism marketing or other relevant field; minimum of 3 years of work experience in communications or public relations; excellent writing/editing skills; and a proven track record of managing a variety of projects/initiatives concurrently.
