Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Vehicle Operator/Courier Supervisor directs and supervises all activities of the Courier Service; maintains records of preventative maintenance of all vehicles; establishes runs as requested by Department Manager as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to deal effectively with others and to work effectively in situations of high or moderate stress and tight deadlines; ability to interrupt work to deal with problems; valid State drivers license and outstanding driving record.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps and drive continually for up to eight hours per day; ability to distinguish colors; ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
