Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Human Resources Manager to join our team in Sofitel SO Mauritius. As a key member of our Human Resources department you will play a crucial role in shaping our organizations culture driving employee engagement and implementing strategic talent management initiatives.

  • Develop and execute the annual HR Department Business Plan aligning it with overall organizational goals
  • Lead recruitment efforts to meet talent needs ensuring compliance with company guidelines and best practices
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee performance management processes including goal setting feedback and development planning
  • Drive HR solutions such as reward and recognition programs employee wellbeing initiatives and leadership development
  • Manage the salary review process and ensure competitive compensation practices
  • Analyze HR metrics and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize workforce planning
  • Foster a diverse inclusive and positive work environment that aligns with the companys values and culture
  • Stay updated on HR trends employment laws and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

Qualifications :

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management/Hotel Management
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management experience in hospitality industry
  • Thorough understanding of Mauritian employment legislation
  • Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in English/French language 
  • Proficient in MS Excel Word & PowerPoint
