About us
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing world class aeromedical search and rescue services to those in need 24/7. The Service has almost 50 years of proud history and operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth Belmont Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and Deep Level Maintenance (DLM) facility based in Broadmeadow NSW. About the position
A new full time opportunity has recently become available within the Service for an Aviation Life Support Equipment Officer.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working alongside our part time ALSEO this role may be based from either Belmont Tamworth or Lismore (with regular travel to the bases) and be responsible for managing inspecting maintaining and arranging repair for all role and life support equipment in accordance with manufacturer and CASA requirements.
To be considered for this role you will hold:
- Certificate III Aircraft Life Support & Furnishing or Certificate IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Life Support Equipment Officer in the aviation industry preferably HEMS including inspection service and repair of stretchers harnesses wander leads strops ARV CRC straps EPIRB life jackets life rafts tag lines helmets hi line.
