SUMMARY:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Maintenance Department including the Building Superintendents Couriers Mailroom Housekeeping and Laundry. Shipping and Receiving and the Warehouse as assigned. The Manager provides training as needed to the staff and ensures all work follows regulatory and safety standards meets expectations and work orders are completed on time.
The Manager will support the Assistant Director on assigned projects. Ensure all work is complete and meets the guidelines required both by the State of KY and Lexington Clinic. The Manager reviews planned and actual expenses in the budgets with the Assistant Facilities Director and approve bills/invoices as assigned.
The Manager will have or will complete Regulator Training required within six (6) months of their start date with Lexington Clinic and maintain the certifications currency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess sufficient experience in healthcare facilities management including supervisory experience. Present a positive image to everyone and be a leader in customer service. The Manager will be able to look ahead and eliminate obstacles before issues surface and be able to clearly communicate plans and accountability expectations.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
