The Human Resources (HR) Specialist at Sherrill Pest Control is responsible for coordinating the human resource functions which include but are not limited to recruiting hiring and onboarding; payroll and benefits; engagement and retention; performance management; and ensuring employment-related policies and practices are current and compliant.

What Youll Get to Do
As our Human Resources Specialist you wont just handle paperwork - youll help shape the heart of our company. This is a hands-on on-site role helping us attract retain and support top talent.
Heres what your day-to-day will look like:
Champion full-cycle recruiting hiring and onboarding
Manage payroll and benefits with accuracy and care
Support team member engagement and retention strategies
Drive performance and professional development initiatives
Maintain compliant up-to-date HR policies and documentation
Contribute to a workplace where people feel seen supported and challenged to grow
Obtain a Category 07 State Pesticide Certification
What Makes You a Great Fit
You may be our perfect match if you:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of HR experience
Are a clear communicator organized thinker and team collaborator
Have a talent for sourcing interviewing and building connections
Know your way around HR databases social platforms and Office 365
Can attend local hiring events and represent our brand in the community
Want to be on-site daily (this is not a hybrid/remote role)
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
HR generalist-level knowledge preferred
Bonus: experience recruiting in home services or skilled trades
