Job Description
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research to support content and SEO strategies
Optimize website pages blog posts and metadata for search visibility
Perform technical SEO audits and implement improvements (e.g. site structure mobile performance crawl errors)
Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Track keyword rankings backlinks and competitor performance
Develop SEO recommendations and collaborate with content writers or developers as needed
Provide weekly or bi-weekly updates on progress wins and challenges
Stay current with SEO trends Google algorithm updates and industry tools
Qualifications:
2 years of SEO experience ideally in both technical and content SEO
Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs SEMrush Screaming Frog Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Solid understanding of on-page off-page and technical SEO practices
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred:
Experience with local SEO and schema markup
Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS
Understanding of content strategy and user experience
