Job Description

Legal Assistant - Litigation Focus

Location: West Palm Beach FLJob Type: Full-time Onsite

A respected law firm is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant for its West Palm Beach office. This is a full-time onsite position supporting attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day litigation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file court documents including electronic filings

  • Draft letters memos and routine legal documents

  • Organize case files and manage deadlines

  • Handle scheduling calls and meetings for attorneys

  • Interact with court staff clients and legal teams professionally

  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information

  • Transcribe dictation and process incoming/outgoing mail

  • Track reimbursements and submit payment requests

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience in litigation support within a law firm or legal setting

  • Familiarity with pleadings court filings and legal terminology

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of iManage InTapp or similar software preferred

  • Clear communication and excellent time management

  • Ability to work occasional overtime when needed

  • Background in legal studies or related coursework is a plus
