PwC IT Services Limited provides shared technology services to the PwC network of member firms in a secure legally compliant efficient and transparent manner.
The GHS Service Manager Financial Management will be a member of the Global Hosting Services (GHS) Service Management & Compliance team and will be responsible for all aspects of financial management for the GHS portfolio of services with an emphasis on Cloud Service.
The role holder will be responsible for:
Managing budgets inspecting actuals and preparing monthly forecasts.
Ensuring that costs do not exceed budgeted amounts.
Performing financial analysis and producing periodic and ad hoc financial reports.
Managing invoice approvals and processing statements of work with suppliers.
Overseeing timesheet submission to ensure accuracy and proper charge code allocation.
Collaborating with GHS leadership Finance and Chief Administrative Office (CAO) to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
GHS offers secure 24/7 hosting services through multiple Public Cloud Service Providers and PwCs global on-premises data centers.
This role requires a strong understanding of IT financial management principles and practices experience with budgeting and forecasting and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing IT budgets and delivering financial results.
Job Requirements and Preferences
Basic Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors degree.
Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years in IT Financial Management with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Fields of Study: Finance Accounting Management Information Systems.
Certification(s) Preferred: CPA CFA or equivalent; ITIL
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud service cost drivers.
Experience with financial management systems and reporting tools.
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage GHS budgets track actuals and prepare monthly forecasts ensuring alignment with overall IT financial goals.
Perform variance analysis identify cost optimization opportunities and implement cost control measures.
Develop and produce regular financial reports including budget vs. actuals forecasting and ad hoc analysis for GHS leadership.
Oversee invoice processing statement of work review and vendor payment.
Collaborate with GHS Operations and Service Management & Compliance teams to ensure accurate timesheet submissions and charge code allocation.
Stay informed about industry best practices for IT financial management and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures for GHS.
