Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Skilled Nursing Facility Weaverville NC
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at a skilled nursing facility in Weaverville North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for a nurse leader looking to grow their career while supporting quality care and clinical excellence.
Position Overview:
As the ADON you will assist the Director of Nursing in managing the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility. You will play a key role in staff development quality assurance and ensuring the delivery of person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the DON in daily clinical operations
- Supervise mentor and train nursing staff
- Help ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Monitor resident care and support quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff and collaborate with other departments
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong clinical and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Passion for quality resident care and team development
