Audit Manager
Location: Bolton
Salary:per annum- (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
A respected and growing accountancy firm is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their team.
This role suits someone with strong audit experience team leadership skills and a proactive approach to client service.
What youll do
Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion
Be the main point of contact for clients throughout engagements
Supervise and support junior staff giving feedback and guidance
Prepare and manage budgets track progress and resolve variances
Oversee billing and ensure engagements stay within budget
Ensure full compliance with accounting and auditing standards
Handle admin and ad hoc duties that support project delivery
What youll need
ACA ACCA or equivalent qualification
Strong audit background within a UK accountancy firm
Solid understanding of auditing and accounting standards (FRS IFRS)
Experience reviewing and improving junior team members work
Strong risk awareness and attention to detail
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with CaseWare or CCH is helpful but not essential
