With a keen sense of organization this person will set the direction for the housekeeping department while providing a stimulating work environment for his or her team.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Anticipate needs in order to skilfully plan operations and thus ensure smooth running and maintenance of high standards of cleanliness at all times.
- Hire develop the skills of and evaluate members of the housekeeping team and monitor their performance.
- Develop standard operating procedures and policies inspired by aesthetic values.
- Coach develop and manage the performance of the housekeeping team through formal and informal means while ensuring that productivity levels are achieved and maintained.
- Manage the budget and supply of the department.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Degree in hotel management or similar field
- 7 years management or supervisory experience
- Natural ability to communicate and mobilize teams bringing together individuals from different cultures
- Flexibility adaptability and conflict resolution skills
- Proactivity and speed in finding solutions in all kinds of situations
