GFA supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ in four main ways. Sponsoring national missionaries to minister to peoples needs sponsoring children investing in community development and helping families in need of care or during disasters.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our ministry as a call center apprentice. As a Call Center Apprentice you will learn the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional customer service handle sponsor inquiries and resolve issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This apprenticeship program is designed to equip you to use your skills for the glory of God and inspire donors to live a life committed to Christ.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries via phone email or chat resolving issues and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Call Handling: Handle inbound and outbound calls answering questions addressing concerns and informing donors of specific projects as required.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter customer information and interaction details into our database.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Ministry/Service Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our ministry/services including ongoing projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other call center representatives sharing knowledge and best practices to achieve team goals.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions workshops and coaching to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Citizen: U.S. citizenship is required
  • Age: 18 years or older and single
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer-facing experience an asset but not required
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications
  • Availability: This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Availability outside of scheduled office time may be required.
