Schochet is Hiring Leasing Consultant
Location: Country Glen Apartments Groton CT
Join a company with over 50 years of success in real estate development and property management! Schochet is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join the team at Country Glen Apartments a 300 unit market-rate community in Groton CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Show available apartment units to prospective residents and process move-ins
- Conduct resident orientations and unit inspections
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings and competitors
- Prepare brochures and marketing materials for potential renters
- Support the Property Manager with office tasks such as answering phones filing creating newsletters logging maintenance issues and assisting residents
- Handle paperwork for prospective and current residents
What Were Looking For:
- Prior leasing and sales experience required
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Motivated self-starter who can work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent organizational proofreading and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and stay composed under pressure
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday Wednesday Friday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
