Job Description

About The Role:

Do you thrive on driving strategic outcomes building high-performing teams and using data to fuel organisational success In this senior leadership role you will spearhead the City of Charles Sturts Performance Business Intelligence and Improvement agenda.

You will lead a dynamic team that spans Continuous Improvement the Project Management Office (PMO) and Business Intelligence (BI) with a strong mandate to innovate and embed data-led decision making across the organisation. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team and senior leaders youll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of capital and operating projects aligning strategic goals with real-time performance insight and supporting an organisation-wide focus on operational excellence and enhanced community outcomes.

This 3-year senior leadership contract - with a strong likelihood of renewal - offers long-term career opportunity and the chance to lead enduring strategic initiatives. About You:

  • You have significant leadership experience in complex multi-functional organisations.
  • You bring deep expertise in continuous improvement PMO / project governance and business intelligence.
  • You are a confident leader of people and culture with a coaching mindset and a focus on building capability and collaboration.
  • You have a strong grasp of data analytics and performance reporting and their power to inform and transform.
  • You are highly strategic with a track record of delivering major initiatives and driving innovation.
  • You are a dynamic communicator and relationship-builder able to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • You bring strong knowledge of corporate governance risk management and change leadership.
  • You are aligned with the values and vision of the City of Charles Sturt.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in business management economics commerce mathematics data science or a related field.
