Product/Test Engineering (NPI/NTI)

Perform semiconductor product/test engineering in furtherance of research design development and manufacturing of the companys in-house microcontroller and related product development. Translate product specification and systems requirements into test requirements; define and implement concepts for design for testability and for automatic test software generation; perform bench validation and characterization developing test plans based on design specification and specifying PCB design requirements for bench validation boards; develop and simulate patterns during the design phase; develop soft-and-hardware on state-of-the-art Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for combined wireless connectivity and microcontroller products; responsible for parallel test concepts and methodologies; release test soft-and hardware in high volume manufacturing; contributing to cost reduction test time reduction and yield improvement; perform yield enhancement by identifying fail modes quantity of material affected and fallout rate; support characterization of integrated circuits performing bench measurements micro probing thermal evaluation data analysis presenting results and generating reports; support evaluation board designs perform data collection and characterization to determine the failure mechanism and work on a cross-functional team with design failure analysis and process or test engineering to identify and implement corrective actions; support Customer Quality Incident investigations (ATE test lab analysis and FA lab follow up); generate technical documentation such as design traceability matrix errata sheet statistical analysis report evaluation summary report lessons learned etc.; perform manual bench ESD and latch up test and identify the root cause of failures and propose solutions; and verify production test measurements to correlate with lab measurements.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering Materials Engineering Physics foreign equivalent or related field.

Five (5) years of experience in job offered Engineer Principal Test Development Engineer or closely related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires five (5) years of experience in:

• RF Validation Characterization and Debugging;
• RF Parametric and Functional Testing of RFICs or SoCs;
• RFFE (RF front end) Validation;
• Automatic Test Equipment (ATE);
• Lab/test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope spectrum analyzer VNA (Vector network analyzer) waveform generators);
• Bench Test Development; and
• Programming Language (e.g. C# C or Java).

Offered salary: $204901 per year

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits incentive compensation and/or equity for certain roles.
