You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Automation Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning execution and oversight of technical operations with a focus on Business Intelligence Financial Automation (BI) and Data Visualization.
This position emphasizes technical expertise serving as an Automation SME for Marine Corps data sources policy and BI product development.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining complex databases controlling data access and allocation and maintaining security controls.
The Financial Automation analyst will interface with internal and external stakeholders contributing significantly to department goals and planning efforts and coordinate projects within a Major Subordinate Command Marine Corps staff.
Additionally the role involves designing BI dashboards and reports for logistics and fiscal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data analytics tools with financial management as a secondary focus.
Location: Onsite at Camp Smith Aiea HI
Active DOD Clearance Required
-Provide technical system expertise identifying and reporting system problems and process improvement requirements.
-Troubleshoot data issues by tracing data flow and identifying root causes.
-Maintain SQL queries for ad-hoc reports and enhance stored procedures for production databases.
-Responsible for monitoring and resolving large amount of financial KPIs.
-Test customized in-house developed web-based analytical software.
-Improve project plans/processes to maximize efficiency.
-Analyze current operational procedures identify problems and learn specific input and output requirements.
-Validate and analyze data converting raw data into analytical reports for decision-making.
-Create schema objects and public objects using Data Visualization tools like Power BI.
-Develop and maintain document services reports and custom reports creating dashboards and scorecards.
-Provide FM system expertise and technical guidance on financial matters as needed.
8 years of full-time experience providing technical expertise with a focus on automating DOD systems.
Experience utilizing Data Visualization Tools: Power BI Tableau or Qlik
Experienced with some of the following: DAX SQL Python R Java iQuery Advana Databricks AI/ML technologies.
Desired Qualifications:
Experienced with DOD Financial Management Systems and related services. Preferably USMC/Navy ground or aviation experience.
Microsoft SQL Server database Certification Security Plus (preferred but not required).
DOD FMS: DAI Navy ERP SABRS DEAMS or GFEBS experience
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are based on various factors including skill set experience training and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $110000 - $155000.00.
