Job Description

Tracr are looking for a passionate Fullstack Engineer with a strong background in Python and is a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking product collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features improve code quality and drive innovation.

Key tasks include 

  • Collaborate closely with Product Design and the Solution Architect to develop and implement new front-end features.
  • Work alongside QA to diagnose and resolve bugs on both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Maintain accuracy in project delivery working in alignment with the team lead.
  • Be proactive and seek assistance when required ensuring youre never blocked.
  • Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and bring them to the table.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
  • Write review and test code ensuring the highest standards of software quality.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date and ensure accurate release notes.
  • Champion best practices in engineering including version control systems code reviews CI/CD pipelines and more.

Qualifications :

  • Strong experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Python with experience working with Cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong Typescript skills including experience with frameworks such as React.
  • Demonstrable expertise in building APIs.
  • Familiarity with Python web frameworks eg Fast API Django etc.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Rust.
  • Proven understanding and application of unit and integration tests.
  • Strong command of Python and Javascript.
  • In-depth knowledge of unit tests.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with types and type systems with skills in mypy Rust or other typed languages a plus.
  • Understanding of Linux and Docker.
  • Proficiency in best-practice engineering principles including version control systems code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good grasp of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Awareness of Kubernetes.
