Senior System Manager - Integrity Management

This is why the Integrity Management team is looking forward to welcome you as Senior System Manager - Integrity Managementat ISCC headquarters in Cologne.

The Senior System Manager - Integrity Management has the objective to co-design and implement the ISCC EU strategy driving the upscale of ISCC EU certifications developing and improving the ISCC EU system with regards to new legislation and market requirements increasing recognition and market share as well as developing the ISCC EU team and facilitate cross-company knowledge transfer.

Your main duties will be:

• Manage and optimize Integrity Management processes
  1. Continuously develop Integrity Program e.g. by identifying relevant focus areas or possibilities to adapt and improve processes and documents
  2. Support on following the ISCCs strategy by alignment the department goals
     • Exchange with relevant stakeholders such as authorities on market developments and cases related to integrity management
     • Establish and maintain governmental/national system relations (e.g. national authorities OLAF REFUREC CA-RES)
     • Day-to-day work of department:

1. Organize Integrity Assessments including which System Users/CBs are to be audited
2. Evaluate and communicate audit results in close cooperation with Integrity Auditors and the Integrity team
3. Management of Integrity Auditors including schedule of Integrity Assessments resource planning of auditors onboarding/training of auditors individual questions by auditors; invoicing of Integrity Auditors
4. Share learnings from audits to improve certification system
5. Evaluate incoming requests and information on non-conformities with ISCC requirements
6. Communicate sanctions of certified companies and Certification Bodies
7. Monitoring of Certification Bodies performance
8. Discuss and evaluate integrity related cases with respective departments
9. Facilitate practical implementation of requirements through technical guidance to CBs and System Users
10. Documentation in internal data base
11. Discuss and evaluate received complaints and further develop Whistleblowing/grievance mechanism
12. Develop and update system documents
13. Legal check of documents / ISCCs internal processes

• Additional duties:

1. Participate in other selected Integrity-related ISCC projects
2. Representing ISCC at external events
3. Participate in CB Meetings
4. Accompany audits as witness auditor
5. Present ISCC Trainings (Internal & external)
6. Train new staff members
7. Actively contribute to continuous improvement process within company

• University degree in bioenergy chemistry circular economy bioeconomy environmental studies business management economics law or similar
• At least 5 7 years postgraduate professional experience
• At least 3-year postgraduate professional experience in relevant field (organizations/stakeholder associations) for similar topics
• Must-have/Preferred: experience with sustainability certification labels and/or relevant EU and/or Member State legislation
• Must-have solid experience in project management in international context extensive experience in high-level customer support
• Must-have the following skills:

1. Effective communication
2. High level of integrity and confidentiality
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
5. Excellent mediation skills

• Excellent (C1 C2) English language skills (written and spoken)
• Very good copy-writing skills
• Very good PC and Office user skills general IT proficiency
• Excellent understanding of certification systems for bio-based fuels/low carbon fuels
• Excellent knowledge of ISCC EU
• Very good understanding of relevant EU legislation on bio-based fuels/low carbon fuels
