Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a RISE Case Specialist Rohingya Speaking to join the Refugee & Immigrant Specialized Experience (RISE) program. The role of the Refugee & Immigrant Specialized Experience (RISE) Case Specialist (RCS) is to provide 1:1 individual/family-based culturally competent GBA & trauma-informed strengths- based 1:1 navigation & co-ordination for high-needs clients in first language in the Surrey and Delta communities to address their needs strengthen personal capacity & foster independence for a period of 12-18 months until the client is ready to graduate from the program.
The RCS will provide individual and/or family eligibility ongoing and exit assessment sessions as needed in line with the Case Management Framework. The RCS will provide customized systems and services navigation and coordination support cultural brokerage knowledge and skills building sessions for adapting to life in Canada targeted referrals and bridging to relevant programs and services within the community and accompaniments to facilitate equitable access to services.
