Job Description
- Multiple positions available for Personal Care Assistants
- Permanent part time or full time on offer Located in Torquay

About the role
We are seeking Personal Care Assistants to join VMCH Star of the Sea on a permanent part-time basis.
- Morning afternoon and night shifts available
- Ideally to pick up a minimum of three shifts per week
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team your focus will be:
- Providing support and care according to the Care Plan and residents preferences and strengths
- Applying person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents
- Considering the residents individual needs stage of life development and strengths when engaging in support activities
About you
You are an enthusiastic motivated self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles you will need:
- Certificate III in Aged Care Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation) or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Previous experience working in an aged care facility
- Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
