Reports to: Operations Manageror Service Manager
Duties and Responsibilities -
Repair equipment in a safe andhigh qualitymanner
Provides parts lists as needed
Performs inspections as directed and suggests other needed repairs
Perform Diagnostics to recreate customer complaint (if needed)
Communicates work order and all part numbersrequiredto perform assigned repairs to parts department
Communicates work order and all shop materialsrequiredto perform assigned repairs to service department manager.
Makes repairs required in a safe and effective manner
Ensure that all repairs are completed as assigned
Ensure all parts and materials not used are returned to parts department and communicates to service manager to have them removed
Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition
Ensuresrepairs are completed within the quoted time or communication with theirManagertakes place as soon as the technician is aware that the quoted time will not be met.
Customer communication where applicable about machine breakdown/repairs
Inspection ofequipmentforadditionalneeds/work
Maintain work areas or truck in a clean and orderly environment
All tools and special equipment used on repairs are clean before returning them
All specialty tools used on jobs are returned to the original location in working condition
All communications with customers and coworkersisconducted with respect and honesty
Report toServiceManager any broken or missing toolsimmediately

Heavy Equipment Technician Qualifications and Experience:
Full Time
