Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time CNC Machinist Setup/Operator ($3000 sign-on bonus!) in our advanced manufacturing assembly department based in our Hopkinton MA location. This is a full-time role Monday-Friday. This position involves reading blueprints programming in MasterCAM and setting up/operating machines such as CNC mills and lathes.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and run CNC mills and lathes (HAAS preferred)
- Read engineering drawings (blueprint reading)
- Use knowledge of G&M codes in CNC programming process
- Make adjustments with MDI at CNC machine tool control
- Use common inspection equipment
- Run parts on Haas CNC mills and lathes including 3 and 4 axis milling and lathe live tooling
- Perform in-process and final inspection on those parts and verify they meet all print tolerances and specifications
- Operate independently and go from print to part
- Edit troubleshoot and improve machining programs
- Operate multiple machines while meeting timeline demands and adhering to safety requirements
Requirements:
- Programming experience is a must. Mastercam preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing)
- Apprentice or technical schooling for precision machining (CNC or Manual)
- Experience working with rigorous tight tolerances and minute measurements
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and match delivery dates
